We bid you welcome!

Join us for Worship and Church School every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Childcare is provided.

We do not expect you to think as others do, but we do hope that you live a kind and helpful life with the dignity proper to a human being.

Ministers at the Congregational Unitarian Church have the task of presenting religion freely, fearlessly, and faithfully. Listeners have the responsibility of testing what they hear, not only with a critical mind, but also in the living of everyday life.

The members of this congregation welcome the presence of all those who believe that religion is wider than every sect and deeper than any set of opinions.

Why Should I Try Your Church?

  • If you are looking for a church – a religious and spiritual community – that can be part of your family . . .
  • If you want to be free to select and develop your own beliefs and values and not be told what to do and say . . .
  • If you are interested in a religious education for your children that will encourage them to make up their own minds about the deepest questions of life . . .
  • If you would like to be part of a group of people who are also on a spiritual journey and search with them for the sources of hope, love, peace, and inner strength that we all need in order to fully face each day . . .
  • If you would like to make a difference in the world through a church that is active with homelessness, poverty, sexual orientation issues, the environment, minority communities, world peace, and other aspects of community service and social justice . . .
  • If you are looking for a liberal church that incorporates you and your needs, beliefs, values, actions, and purposes in life . . .

. . . you should try our church.

Are you looking for a church that offers:

  • the freedom of an individual spiritual journey?
  • a belief in the value of deeds, not creeds?
  • a personal beacon of hope in an increasingly violent and terrified world?
  • help in knowing and naming the holy in everyday life?
  • an alternative to the strident voice of religious fundamentalism?
  • a family of support and help from your church friends?
  • welcome – no matter who you are or what you believe?
  • an alternative to the idea of a singular spiritual world?
  • a church that will not hide from the problems of the world?
  • a proclamation of peace and justice for all?

If so, you have found the right church.
